Is a consultation right for you?
Our weight management consultation is for adults living with excess weight who want clinical support. It is not suitable for everyone, and a prescriber will always assess whether it is appropriate for you.

Not during pregnancy or breastfeeding
The consultation is not suitable if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or planning a pregnancy. Please speak to your GP or midwife instead.

You have a history of an eating disorder, a long-term health condition, or any symptom that is new or worrying you. Your GP can also refer you to NHS weight management services.
